The Rules

Please read the following rules before beginning to place bids for various donations.

A silent auction operates much like a live auction sans an auctioneer and live bidding.  Ebay is a good example of a silent auction.  Each of the donations on this website provide a description of the item, the number of possible winners per item, the value of the item and the starting bid.  Remember the purpose of this auction is to raise funds for the Harold M. Logan Fund. Starting bids do not represent the true value of any of these donations; they are simply a starting point. At the bottom of each entry is a BID NOW hyperlink that will take you to a Google document spreadsheet where you may enter your bid.  To place bids, please follow these rules:

1. Enter all requested data (name, email address, bid, phone number).
2. Please fill in a row ONLY ONCE.
3. Do NOT remove/change another person's bid. Doing so results in automatic disqualification.
4. Assigning your name to a certain bid amount indicates you are willing to pay that amount.
5. SAVE the spreadsheet: closing the spreadsheet should automatically save your entries, but please save anyway.  It is best to revisit the spreadsheet after closing it to double check that your bid was saved.
6. Minimum bidding increments of one dollar.
7. There are no guarantees you will win, check back often, especially near the close of the auction.
8. In the event that an item has the capacity for multiple winners, the top bidders will win one of those available positions.  For example, if an item has three winners possible, then the top three bidders will win the item.
9. Winners will be notified on Monday, May 2nd.
10. All items need to be paid for with a check made out to, "The Harold M. Logan Fund."
11. You will be notified by email if you are a winner.
10. All items must be collected and paid for by Monday, May 9th. If you fail to pay for and collect the item, it will be given to the next highest bidder.
